Carol has built
Palmetto Real Estate from a one-woman office to the
gi-normous mega business of 2005 over the course of the past ten
years. A cornerstone of the business and of the community, Carol is
a member of the Old Village Association of Port Royal, Beta Sigma
Phi Sorority, the Baptist Church of Beaufort and the Historic Port
Royal Foundation. She has been in the “business” for over thirty
years and specialized in golf course retirement communities for a
number of those years, but her true love is working with first time
home buyers. She takes a personal interest in every client, and
rarely takes “no” for an answer! |

experience! I moved to Beaufort from Aiken after vacationing here
for many years. I continue to pursue my passion for equestrian

I always considered myself somewhat
of a gypsy, living in many of our nation's great cities and small
towns, but when I relocated to Beaufort in 1991, I knew
immediately I was home. I was born and raised in Greenwood, SC
and knew eventually I would return to SC, but had no idea that
paradise was only a few hours from where I grew up. The main
reason I became a real Estate salesperson was so I could have the
joy of introducing others to our wonderful city. Beaufort and the
outlying area is definitely something you have to feel for
yourself. Words can never quite describe the essence of the Low
Country. I have four adult children, Michelle, Heather, India, and
Roger, and they all love Beaufort as much as I do. I'm divorced,
and if I were to remarry the right man will have to relocate to
Beaufort if he doesn't already live here, "cause I'm not
leaving!!! I think the most important thing in life is happiness,
a real sense of serenity, and I have found exactly that in my own
backyard.

Marissa McArdle - Realtor

Doug Bazemore - Realtor
Born in the oil fields of Venzuela, South America, I moved to South
East Georgia 19 years later when my father retired from Standard Oil
Company. I spent one year at Georgia Tech then four years at the
University of Georgia, then lucked out with a pilot job for Murray
Biscuit Co. in Augusta, GA. Better luck came shortly with a pilot’s
job with Delta Airlines. I flew with Delta for over 30 years. I was
fortunate enough to fly all over the US and Caribbean. The last 10
years I flew to Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, Taipei, and Hawaii. I
currently reside part time in Port Royal and Sylvania, where I raise
cattle on my farm with my wife of 39 years. We have 4 children and 2
dogs. I have always been interested in real estate and look forward
to serving you in the great area. |
